BREAKING NEWS

Brittany?

As a result of sending out the questionnaires in November and December, we received replies from some 20 people, who were all invited to a meeting in the Roger Montgomeri Room at the Woodlands Centre in Rustington on 8 March.  Everyone had the opportunity to air their views, both for the positive aspects of twinning, and of the pitfalls that can occur.  The overall feeling was very much for proceeding with an investigation of the possibility of twinning with Livré sur Changeon.

At the Twinning AGM on 13 March, several members of this group attended and met Wendy Debu, from the Livré sur Changeon Twinning Committee.  Later that week, on 16 March, Wendy addressed a meeting of the group, held at the Dragon Restaurant in Sea Lane, to tell them about her village.

The next move is probably a fact-finding visit to Brittany and a report back to the Twinning Association.  We will keep you up to date on this page.
